What makes Dr. Comfort shoes different? Dr. Comfort shoes are specially designed with the input of foot health professionals. They feature extra width and depth in the toe box and forefoot to relieve pressure from key areas of your feet, and they're manufactured using only top quality materials. That makes them great for people with diabetes and other health conditions that affect the feet.
Who are Dr. Comfort shoes intended for? Dr. Comfort shoes were originally designed for people with diabetes. We now offer a variety of Dr. Comfort footwear styles for people with all kinds of therapeutic needs. Come and visit us or call one of our offices for more information.
What are Dr. Comfort shoes made of? Dr. Comfort uses full-grain leather uppers for most of the shoes in our collection. Select styles are made from nubuck, a buffed leather similar to suede. Other models are made using lycra, a breathable, stretchable material. All the shoes feature full-leather linings, except the athletic models that utilize a cotton lining.
What makes Dr. Comfort socks different? Dr. Comfort socks are designed to keep your feet healthy. Their smooth-seam construction reduces the risk of unwanted friction that can lead to calluses. Anti-microbial odor control and nano bamboo charcoal fibers help keep your feet dry, which prevents infection. And because they're non-binding, they don't inhibit your circulation.
Why should I wear Dr. Comfort slippers? When you're living with diabetes or other health conditions with foot complications, it's important to protect your feet at all times. Walking around barefoot can put your feet at risk. Bumps and bruises can turn into much worse problems. Dr. Comfort's closed and open heel slippers feature extra-depth construction, protective toe boxes, non-skid outsoles and gel inserts. So your feet are as comfortable as they are safe - especially when you're at home.
